Youth Division (8-18 years old)

Our track and field Youth Division training is one of the best in the Los Angeles area. Programing is key to building a successful athlete and our head coach, Le’Von Davis, personally designs the programs for each of our athletes. While we are big believers in hard work and constantly challenge our students to grow and improve, we also know that it’s crucial to prevent burnout and injuries at this age. At Mile Eaters we are looking ahead to the high school and college careers of our members and one of our key philosophies is to enjoy the process while still succeeding. We help our students understand and plan for their future, helping them to achieve their goals. Our members have the opportunity to compete in several competitive meets each season and, depending on qualification times, may race in the Junior Olympics.

As a Varsity Distance Coach for a Division One high school our head coach, Le’Von Davis, brings great knowledge and skill to our cross country Youth Division. As with our track and field program we know it is crucial to prevent burnout and injuries at this age and believe in the importance of fun and team spirit as our athletes work hard and are challenged by us to grow and improve. We help our students understand and plan for their future, looking towards high school and college, and help them to achieve their goals. Our members have the opportunity to compete in several competitive meets each season and, depending on qualification times, may race in the Regional Championships.

 

Youth Intensive Program 

Fees: $120 per month
Includes: 4-6 training sessions per week, 4 yoga sessions per month, goal planning
San Fernando Valley Locations: Burbank, Glendale, Sherman Oaks
Los Angeles Locations: TBD per training cycle

New division for both Cross Country and Track which includes very specific training for any athlete that signs-up. Even though our regular training program meets 3-4 days a week. These extra 1-2 days of individual specific training will allow the older athletes to receive a more “dialed-in" training program.
